The Energy Division specializes in the energy efficiency of building systems and other related areas, including energy metering, electric submetering, steam trap assessment, infrared scanning, preventive maintenance, distributed generation, and demand curtailment.

Our experience spans commercial, industrial, and multifamily buildings.  With PowerCon’s engineering and construction management assistance, our clients have installed every type of energy-efficient technology: lights, lighting controls, motors, VFDs, condensing boilers, BMS, cogeneration, ventilation regulators, solar PV and DHW, and many more.

The Energy Division takes a hands-on approach.  Where feasible, we deploy instrumentation to gather real-world data instead of relying on standard estimates.  We are most at home troubleshooting problems and analyzing data in the field, whether in a boiler room, electrical closet, rooftop mechanical room or steam tunnel.
